Finally, bath time!

We spent last week on a much needed vacation to Destin. Let me just say that vacation was much different this year compared to any other year in the past. This was Presley's first major road trip and he did excellent. After loading down our tahoe with everything but the kitchen sink we left for the bright sunshine! I swear I think I barely had any clothes for me because I was way too concerned that I would leave something of his at home. I don't think anything is ever easy with a newborn!

He seemed to love the beach but not so much the bright light outside even though we were out in the late evening. He also liked swimming in the pool in his float that his daddy bought him. Of course right when we got dressed and ready to go we got very hungry and had to eat right before diving in! Presley's cousin Mack was also along on the trip until Wednesday. They got to hang out together and play. It was so much fun to have the babies with us this year! I can't imagine how much fun next year will be.

Presley is growing so much. He is smiling all of the time and cooing a lot. Each week is something exciting and new. I can't believe that he is already 3 months old. Where does the time go? I hope the next time I post something I can write about how he is sleeping through the night! We are not quite there yet, but it is getting easier. I think he just wants to get up in the night to see our faces. I do love seeing his and even though I can barely hold my eyes open at times something about that smile makes it all worth while!
